Following a somewhat unusual ending to my studies, I'm ecstatic to share that I have received a distinction in my Master's degree in Composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Thank you to Errollyn Wallen and John Ashton Thomas in particular for their inspiring tutelage, and to my wonderful and talented friends for recording my finals project remotely!

In 2019 my entry to BBC Radio 3's Breakfast Carol Competition was shortlisted out of almost 400 submissions into the final 6. My carol Go To The Child was recorded by the BBC Singers (conducted by Bob Chilcott), and played ten times on Radio 3 (including a few live performances).
I was also interviewed live twice, and am grateful to all my friends, family, and colleagues for their support!

Trinity Laban Wind Ensemble Commission Premiere
dingy drabbers score cover.jpg

I'm delighted to have received a premiere of my my last student commission, Dingy Drabbers, for Trinity Laban's 16-piece Wind Ensemble. This piece conjures images of dirty, damp urban streets - think Havana, London, or New York City. The premiere was conducted by Michael Whight, and performed on Friday 6 March 2020 in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel in Greenwich.
Thank you to the performers for working so hard on the piece!
